BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF AGREEMENT

When booking any appointment with “Gels by Pia” you are agreeing to my booking / cancellation policy and terms.

By booking any appointment you are also agreeing you have read and understood all of my policies stated below.

My policies are non-negotiable.

If for any reason you do not abide, I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your appointment or any future appointments.

Loss of booking fee and full payment of service may still be required.

If for any reason you DO NOT agree to my policies in place, unfortunately we are not a match.

BOOKING FEE

A non-refundable booking fee (50% of appointment) is required upon booking any service.

The booking fee can be taken off the total amount of your appointment or carried through to a future infill appointment - your appointment will not be confirmed until the booking fee is paid.

If the appointment is cancelled for any reason (within cancellations terms) your booking fee will be held as a credit until rescheduled, no refunds are offered on the booking fee. - PLEASE READ CANCELLATION TERMS

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Due to safety and the nature of my business please attend your appointment ALONE.

No children, babies, friends or pets are allowed in the salon.

NAIL HEALTH

The health of your natural nails will determine the outcome and longevity of your enhancements.

If your nails are damaged by previous enhancements, you may need multiple appointments to repair the natural nail and to achieve your desired result.

Please DO NOT book or attend your appointment if you have any known discolouration, bruising, lifting, fungal or nail infections present, I will not be able to complete your service.

I will require you to provide me with a doctors clearance before returning to the salon.

If you have any fresh wounds or bleeding surrounding your fingers / cuticles, I will not be able to complete your service.

I reserve the right to cancel your appointment on the spot if this policy is not followed, full payment will still be required.

ALLERGIES / REACTIONS

Having any sort of beauty service / enhancement does not go without risk to product reactions.

It is important to advise me of any known allergies or previous reactions to products used in other salons.

In the very rare case that you suffer any reaction to the products used in the salon “Gels by Pia” does not hold responsibility, reactions are a rare occurrence that can not be predicted or tested prior to your visit.

If you have suffered a reaction to the product used please notify me immediately and book in for a removal, Please consult your medical professional immediately.

SICKNESS

If you are feeling unwell or are noticeably sick please do not attend your appointment and contact me to reschedule, the salon is situated in my home it is vital for me to protect my own health and my families.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Cash, Transfer or Card payments are accepted in the salon.

Payment MUST be settled before leaving the salon.

(please note: all card payments incur a 2% transaction fee)

APPOINTMENT RESCHEDULING LIMIT

Rescheduling your original appointment is limited to no more than 3 times. If you can not make any of the rescheduled appointments your booking fee will be forfeited.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds are not offered on any booking fees or any completed services.

when booking your appointment you agree to have read and understood this policy.

During your appointment you will be asked on multiple occasions if you are happy with your service, this is your time to speak up for any changes.

AFTERCARE

It is YOUR responsibility to care for your nails upon leaving the salon, you can find my aftercare advice in the salon during your appointment or on my instagram page, a copy will be sent to you upon completion of your service.

REPAIRS

If a nail repair is required within the first 48 hrs after your appointment due to a flaw, Please contact me within this timeframe and I will happily fix this for you.

Flaws: Dust stuck under the gel, crooked nail, gel malfunction.

Not a flaw: Fake tan stains, food stains, you broke a nail, change of mind, enhancement picked off.

Normal repair cost applies to any nail fixes outside of this timeframe.

Please follow all the correct aftercare advice to avoid any repairs needed.

CANCELLATION POLICY

CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING

I require more than 48 hours notice for any changes or cancellations to bookings.

failure to contact me prior will result in loss of booking fee and/or full payment will be required before rescheduling.

If notified within the 48 hour timeframe I do require 50% of appointment to be paid, If contacted with less than 24 hours notice I will require 100% of appointment fee paid.

Please know this policy is set in place to protect my business regardless of the reason for cancellation - This isn't personal, this is to ensure I keep my business open.

LATE ARRIVALS

Please allow ample time upon traveling to your appointment, if you are more than 10-15 minutes late please contact me, your desired appointment may need to be altered to accommodate the new timeframe.

NO SHOWS

If you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment, you will forfeit your booking fee and be required to pay for your appointment in full.

No further appointments will be offered to you.
